OWH, Memorial Day weekend and Any Hero cards...

5/19/2014

I thought this one would be perfect for someone to send home.  When Pete was in the Navy, yeah, I missed his voice...a lot.

Memorial Day
5/26/2014

Yesterday we had another get together at Emeritus Senior Living.  It was an extra chance to spread the love of our military with our friends there and make some cards for OWH on this Memorial Day Holiday.  We also wrote many Any Hero letters as well as put together some really nice cards.  Esther and Ellen seem to provide the lion's share of kits and it's always inspiring to see new designs and what they do with some of the papers we share.  Esther posts pics after each get together and it's been fun to see how our cards have grown over the 3 years we've been getting together.

Anyway, here are the card kits I took, and I'm happy to say, were all assembled and put into a box that Esther has mailed off to Sandy today.

This sentiment was one I CASE'd from another OWH card maker on the OWH FB page.  I computer generated it.  I thought it was perfect for Any Hero cards.

These went together very quickly and the nice design paper (DP) and card stock just made it yummy and easy for me to put together.  Or I've gotten a good dose of mojo from the OWH Blog Hop this weekend.  Even though I've only gone over and checked out a couple of cards, it makes me feel so energized to know how many all around are making cards for this wonderful project and giving of themselves to help our Heroes keep in touch with home.

AND I have to credit my stamping sisters Esther and Ellen with putting up with me and continuing to  be as enthused with this as I am.  It's fun to have friends who share your addictions.  <3
